High
Performance Computing (HPC) Platform
|
|
The
explosion in
cloud computing applications, network communications and storage puts a
large burden on data centers to scale processing capacity without
substantially increasing power and thermal requirements. A new
generation of blade server racks will utilize patented direct touch
liquid cooling technology to provide high efficiency cooling for as
many as 80 blades contained in five 8U chassis and housed in a 48U tall
rack.
These next generation HPC server blades rely
on Inforce®
products to deliver unprecedented performance and reliability in an
extremely dense footprint. Full production for the complete system is
expected in early 2012.

Today's
video
analytics solutions demand high performance processors that are tightly
integrated with HD graphics engines and high speed networking
interfaces. Inforce®
products are now being used for intensive video analytics applications
such as video survelliance and license plate recognition (LPR).
License
plate
recognition technology is being rapidly deployed throughout the world
for real life applications such as toll-road collection &
enforcement, gated facility access & security, and residential
home access control. LPR products analyze video data from survelliance
cameras to rapidly recognize alphanumeric characters on vehicle license
plates and forward the digital information to cloud-based data
processing or billing applications.
